People ask us all the time: where's the beach in Nashville?
Fair question. There isn't one. That's exactly the point.
It started in Newport Beach
We used to live in Newport Beach, California. On one trip back, we spent a perfect day riding beach cruisers, hitting taco shops, and loading up on shirts at Jack's Surfboards in Huntington Beach — seven shirts a visit, because who knows when we'd be back.
Then we'd fly home to Nashville. No ocean. No boardwalk. No beach.
So we built our own
There's an old song about beachfront property in Arizona. We took it to heart. If Nashville wasn't going to grow a coastline, we'd bring the coast to Nashville: the art, the attitude, the humor, the sunset colors. Surf culture, Music City soul.
That's Nashville Beach Surf Shop — where the country meets the surf.
What we make
Every design starts as original art, drawn for people who get the joke and live the vibe: cowboy surfers holding a board meeting, Broadway girls, whiskey tees, vintage trucks with beach soul. Check out our Local Favorites — the designs Nashville can't stop wearing.
Can't find the one? Our Beach Craft customizer lets you design your own. Either way, you leave with a shirt.
Welcome to the beach that shouldn't exist.
